Hi Brandt
From my sister Kathy and your sister Sally, I have a request for an update.
You are correct that I have retired to North Carolina after 40+ years of practicing law. I also got an MBA and Masters in health care administration so that I could work in a hospice in Indiana. That took me to counseling and I became an end of life and grief counselor-eventually creating a children's grief camp and program to educate teachers and provide in school support for children suffering from any kind of loss.
I live on an island in the southern Outer Banks, looking at Bogue Sound and about a 5 minute walk from the ocean. I love my boat and trips to the islands. No hurricanes yet! If I need additional fun, I have taken up golf with a vengeance and love the challenge that little white ball presents.
I am working hard at getting back, creating a grief support group which I lead at the local hospital and serving on the hospital board of directors. Healthcare and how to provide excellent and safe care with passion and compassion and how to pay for is quite a challenge. I absolutely love the work and all of the people.
It is hard having family so far away, with Liz in Indiana practicing nursing in the Indianapolis heart hospital, Nancy in Honolulu working as a marine biologist with endangered marine mammals and Maggie in Denver practicing law.
It doesn't seem possible that so many years have passed. I look forward to hearing about all of our FA classmates and to pictures. Thanks for reaching out.

I asked Peggy if she would favor us with a picture, and she sent five. It is obvious that she is happy with where retirement has brought her.

body surfing, a five minute walk from home.

Moonset, from the house.

Sunset.
