December 30, 2004. A few months ago I received an email from Sally about her art show. I was unable to copy the pictures that were embedded in the email, so I did a Google search.
Sure enough, this site was at the top of the list.www.biscaynenaturecenter.org/facility/art.html. Go there to see some of her work...
February 4, 2003:
I received the following note from Sally, who was in the class of 65 through the early years:
We moved to Miami last year and love it... Meeting all kinds of people from LI, Tom and Aleta Pratt among them, which is really fun.
Acey, our eldest has a baby girl Isabell, born 11/1/01. She and her husband Tom Boulware live in Charleston SC. Amanda, 26, lives in Charlestown MA and works for Mutual of Omaha. Christopher (19) is a sophomore at the University of Delaware and is crease defenseman on their lacrosse team.
I am still painting watercolors and oils. Chris works for Mac Gregor USA, a shipping company.
Sally and I exchanged emails to confirm different things, and the following pragraphs are excerpted from them:My mother was a trustee at Friends and we have such fond memories of the place. We left unhappily to move to Pennsylvania in 1961 when my father changed jobs. We have kept in touch with a few people along the way.
I will send a picture or two when my daughter gets here with her digital camera. It is amazing that we all find a link when we are getting older. I have such fond memories of Locust Valley Friends and friends. Of course, I grew up there and Phebe Alice and Robin and Jan were my best friends. Our mothers were close until we had to move to Pennsylvania.
Now, having moved to Miami, we have 3 couples that live on our street from Greenvale!! It is so remarkable! Thanks for keeping in touch. Anyone who needs a bed in Miami can surely stay here. Plenty of room and walking distance to Coconut Grove. I mean it.
I received these pictures from Sally in March, 2003:
Hi Bob,
Just got to the FA website and thought I would send some photos of all of us.
In the red hat is Isabelle Boulware #1 grandaughter with hat knitted by Aunt Amanda, next is a photo of all the kids Thomas and Acey (Willits) Boulware (30 ), Chris Willits (19) and Amanda Willits (25). Next is a photo of Chris after a lacrosse game this spring at UD. He plays defense. Next is Amanda and her friend Mark Egan when we were all in the Abacos in Feb. Last is a shot of Chris with my husband Chris and me at the same game in Newark DE this spring.
I love hearing what everyone is doing. Jan, I'm coming to see you!! I'm painting, too.
Sally
